This project is a personal photography portfolio where I capture dark food photography inspired by the Dutch golden age. I’m fascinated by this interplay of light and shadow in the paintings of the Old Masters. Rembrandt is probably the most famous painter among photographers using the dramatic lighting. I translate this period into a moody and dramatic look and feel to show my recipes.
